We are looking for a new enthusiastic colleague to join our growing team in a position of Project Control Engineer.

Job Summary 

The candidate will be a self-starter with a high level of energy and motivation and have proficiency in the use of cost control techniques, databases, spreadsheets, word processing and Cost Management software, and have an aptitude to become familiar with RB Rail AS cost control / reporting tools. The candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills and be capable of communicating ideas and issues across multi-discipline teams. Working knowledge of the cost engineering work processes for Engineering, Procurement and Construction work processes on infrastructure projects is essential as are skills related to identifying, analyzing, and solving problems.

We will entrust you to:

• Create and maintain the project time schedules using professional CPM planning software;
• Undertake critical path analysis and communicate the status of the project;
• Monitor progress, analyse data, and create accurate reports;
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among the project team and the various stakeholders;
• Develop and provide appropriate detail cost reports to enable effective management of the specific project for presentation to Management and Beneficiaries. 

To succeed, you should have:

• A minimum of a Bachelor of Science diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction or equivalent;
• A beginning level of understanding of Project Controls general technical skills;
• A beginning level of knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and commissioning work processes;
• Resilient to coping with conflicting demands, able to prioritize duties and work under pressure.
