Eligibility Controller

We are looking for a new enthusiastic colleague to join our growing team in a position of Eligibility Controller.

Job summary

On behalf of the joint venture (Coordinator of Rail Baltica Global Project) Eligibility Controller will be responsible for the eligibility control of the Rail Baltica project costs in accordance with signed CEF Grant Agreement terms and conditions. In particular, Eligibility Controller responsibilities will include preparation of financial reports to European Commission, managing and coordinating all activities related to external audits in the context of CEF-funded projects, and other financial compliance management related tasks.

We will entrust you to

• Prepare financial reports to respective EU institutions.
• Engage with external auditors and audit coordination across Rail Baltica Global Project institutions.
• Engage with European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA), external auditors and other controlling institutions on ex-ante, mid-term review, ex-post evaluations and audits.
• Evaluate and manage risks related to cost eligibility, double financing across the Grant Agreements.
• Ex-ante review of joint venture expenditures.
• Review of cost eligibility across Rail Baltica Global Project institutions.

To succeed, you should have

• Experience in working with EU financed projects.
• Experience in EU funded project control and audits (checks).
• Excellent command of business English.
• Excellent MsOffice, especially Excel skills.
• Highly organized, self-motivated and energetic individual who has analytic mind and can both see large picture and dig-in for daily tasks.
• High ethical standards, integrity, and an impeccable reputation.
