Our client is a renewable energy expert with over 10 years of experience in the solar energy sector. We are looking for a new enthusiastic colleague to join our client’s team in a position of Electrical Project Manager.
ELECTRICAL PROJECT MANAGER
Responsibilities:
- Managing utility scale renewable energy construction projects from contract award to final handover, ensuring timely, high-quality and on-budget construction of the project;
- Project planning, including developing and maintain the project timeline, identifying the critical path and key milestones necessary for the project’s success;
- Planning and forecasting project finances, including budget and cost estimations, completion percentage calculation and estimation, cashflow management with target of being net positive throughout the project;
- Tendering and negotiating subcontract terms and managing subcontracts throughout the project;
- Maintaining open communication, including providing day-to-day direction and oversight of project resources (staff, equipment, subcontractors and materials);
- Collaboration with different stakeholders during the project, including customer, local authorities, internal project team, external partners and subcontractors.
Requirements:
- Higher education in electrical engineering or similar;
- At least 2 years of experience in the energy or electricity construction field (with high-voltage) in a Project Manager or Construction Manager position;
- Experience with project budget and cashflow;
- Experience in a team management;
- In-depth knowledge of electricity system, knowledge regarding high-voltage system, grid code and power parks would be useful;
- Latvian language at C1 level, English language at B2 level;
- Good knowledge with MS Project;
- Good project and time management skills with the ability to efficiently handle multiple projects at the same time;
- Strong leadership and communication skills;
- Self-motivated with demonstrated problem-solving capability.

Salary (gross): starting from 3500 – 5000 EUR, company is willing to negotiate.
