Data Management Specialist

We are looking for a new enthusiastic colleague to join our growing team in a position of Data Management Specialist.

Job summary

Project Control Management and Reporting Department within RB Rail AS is seeking for Data Management Specialists (temporary – 4 months) to support their data reporting, analytics and database management practices.

We will entrust you to

• Innovate the existing data management and reporting practices by identifying, recommending, and actioning improvements.
• Create a variety of new reports from existing data sets utilizing Microsoft Excel and Power BI etc.
• Transfer current reports from Microsoft Excel and Word to Power BI.
• Establish an effective and robust database utilizing a series of existing data sets in a variety of formats and automating the updating thereof.

To succeed, you should have

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualifications in data analytics, economics, mathematics, engineering, computer science or IT. An undergraduate student may be considered providing the field of study is relevant.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerBI.
• Knowledge of coding languages (e.g., Visual Basic and Python), with the ability to code if necessary, would be considered as an advantage.
• Knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or similar.
• Fluent in English with a good command of technical terminology.
