Cost Engineer Latvia or Estonia

We are looking for a new enthusiastic colleague to join our growing team in the position of Cost Engineer Latvia or Estonia.

Job summary

Responsible for all elements of Cost Engineering and Estimating for assigned projects within the Rail Baltica Global Project. The candidate will be a self-starter with a high level of energy and motivation and have proficiency in the use of cost control techniques, databases, spreadsheets, word processing and Cost Management software, and have an aptitude to become familiar with RBR cost control / reporting tools.

We will entrust you to

• Analyse motnhly cost, trend and progress data and estimate updates, use thi information to update project forecast
• Develop standard unit rates for comparison of cost for use in new contracts and variations
• Develop and provide appropriate detail cost reports to enable effective managements of the specific project for presentation to Beneficiaries
• Manage Cost and Commitment report.

To succeed, you should have

• A minimum of Bachelor of Science siploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction or equivalent
• More than 3 years working with cost control processes for the infrastructure or construction industry
• An awareness of Project Controls general technical skills, engineering, procurement, contracts, construction and commissioning work processes
• Excellent MS Excel skills.
